Greetings! Internships Asia is pleased to announce the launch the first intake of the 2011 Regional Internship Program for Myanmar Nationals!
About the program
The Regional Internship Program is a unique opportunity for development professionals currently working with organizations in Myanmar to gain skills, exposure and knowledge in their field of interest. The major goal of the program is to benefit both individuals participating as interns as well as the organizations where they work. The Regional Internship Program specifically targets individuals who are well positioned within organizations and their community and places a priority on those candidates who are committed to returning to their home organizations to help develop the capacity of others.
Internships Asia engages professional organizations and institutes in South East Asia who are willing to train and mentor interns on three month placements. An internship is an opportunity to gain hands-on workplace experience that will have direct benefit to the intern's own community. An internship is not a classroom based training program.
We encourage candidates to apply to specific internship positions found advertised on our website. Also on our website you can find more information about the Regional Internship Program and the requirements to participate. This intake we are advertising internships in the fields of:
Early Childhood Education
Food Security
Disability Services
Community Development
HIV Community Outreach
Women’s Education and Empowerment
We will accept applications from individuals interested in other fields, so please don’t hesitate to apply if you are interested to intern in a different field.
